Required Paperwork
- Application form for mutation, filled and signed by the owner of the property

- Latest property tax receipts
- NOC from the concerned authority,

Mutation In MCD
The term “mutation” refers to the process of altering the name of the person in whose name a property is registered in the records maintained by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). The mutation is carried out only for the purpose of reducing the amount of property tax, and it does not in any way confer any legal title on the property. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to modify the property in MCD records in the event that the property is sold, and it is the responsibility of the beneficiary to do so in the event that the original owner passes away.
It is necessary to bring a completed application form for the mutation of property as well as a court fee stamp in the amount of Rs. 3 to the office that is responsible for the mutation.
The following documents must be included with the application:
In the event of Sale Deed
- A copy of the Sale Deed.
- Bond of Indemnity on Rs. 100 Stamp Paper.
- Affidavit printed on a Rs. 10 stamp.
- A current assessment of Property Tax. Regarding Death
- Original Certificate of Death.
- A photocopy of the will or certificate of succession.
- Bond of Indemnity on Rs. 100 Stamp Paper.
- Affidavit notarized by a public notary on Rs. 10 Stamp Paper.
- A current assessment of Property Tax.
A current property tax clearance.
- A photocopy of the Power of Attorney.
- A property mutation application form with a Rs. 3 court fee stamp.
- Indemnity Bond on Rs. 100 Stamp Paper.
- Affidavit on Rs. 10 Stamp Paper.
- A current property tax clearance.
